| We were instructed to write short introductions of ourselves to our English teacher in an interesting manner. So, for a look at my intraspective (don't think that's a word), here it is. Voila!
To tell you
a little about myself, it really does not mean much to say how tall I am, what
my name is, or what my favorite color is.
I’m sure the vast majority of the populace would, frankly, not care
about those details. However, the best
way to describe who I, Max Sprague, am defined as, would be to discuss how I
think and tell my perspective on the environment around me. Also, to make it interesting, I shall
describe as many little quirks and
habits that I can fit into this small page. Also, due
to lack of space, footnotes will be reduced to parenthesized incomplete
sentences. Let me
start by saying that I am several different people in one. I have many varied moods, and they can be
switched, although it may take at least 15 minutes to change. Alone, I
tend to think fairly highly of myself, and tend to think about more
philosophical, metaphysical, and analytical matters than if I were in a social
environment. When present in a social
environment, I tend to adjust a smidge to the attitude of the group surrounding
me. I have several different groups of
friends, and I strive to concentrate on viewing matters objectively and
remaining mostly neutral until a clear resolution can be attained. I believe
myself to be fairly easygoing and carefree, although at times this wavers to
border on anxiety if I become overwhelmed (or just want attention). I believe that anything should probably be
best to be taken in stride, and not to worry so much, because what will happen,
will happen, regardless of how much one worries. I would
describe myself as intelligent, yet poorly motivated. I would place the blame on my mother,
primarily for not whooping my ass (pardon the obscenity) when I would try and
put things off. This has resulted in
fairly poor grades for what I am striving to do for a living: make millions of dollars a year doing not
much of anything. However, getting to
that point will, coincidentally, take much work and effort on my part. What I have in mind is to be the guy who
makes up the next advertising logo idea of genius… like the person who was
surely paid millions to come up with the H & R Block logo: the green
square. Brilliance. That’s all
I can really think of, and you will probably get to know my way of thinking by
me participating in class. If I have had
my rest/coffee for the day, that is.
